Written for the group of instruments in Villa-Lobos's "Mystic Sextet" - since I play flute, harp, and guitar and was interested in writing for sax and celesta, this ensemble just called to me.

The music evolved out of an idea I had for a progressive metal concept album on robots we were looking to do when I was in the band Sold Future. Sadly, the band broke up before it got anywhere, but I liked the music I'd written and so it found a new home.
