From the recording Chamber Music demos
The third part of my Wind in the Willows series for Flute, Harp, and Cello. This one has a more detailed program: Mole walks into the crystal-clear winter day. He enters the wild wood - charming at first, but soon disturbed by ominous whistlings and patterings, making Mole run in fear. Rat, realizing Mole is gone, grabs a stout cudgel and goes searching for him, shutting down the whistlings of the weasels and stoats. The friends are reunited, but Mole needs a rest before the hard, cold journey home. After his nap, they wander in the woods, trying to find their way home. Finally, they find the entrance to Badgers house and a chance for warmth and shelter!
